Volleyball Recap: Calabasas Takes a Loss

Calabasas lost against Agoura back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Coyotes lost 3-0 to the Chargers. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calabasas was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Agoura work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 26-24.

Ramina Homayoun paced Calabasas' offense, picking up nine kills. Homayoun got some help from Grace Yang and her 11 assists. Larkin McGuire controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Calabasas' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Agoura, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Calabasas will take on Oak Park in a tournament on Friday. After both having extra time off, Agoura and Westlake will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
