The Fulton Science Academy Mustangs will be playing at home against the Holy Spirit Prep Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Fulton Science Academy and three for Holy Spirit Prep.
Fulton Science Academy suffered their biggest loss yet this season two weeks ago. They took a serious blow against Atlanta Girls' School, falling 68-31. While losing is never fun, Fulton Science Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 526th, while Atlanta Girls' School is ranked 226th).
Meanwhile, Holy Spirit Prep suffered a tough 53-32 loss at the hands of Dominion Christian on Tuesday. Holy Spirit Prep has not had much luck with Dominion Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Fulton Science Academy dropped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Holy Spirit Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 2-10 record this season.
Fulton Science Academy took a serious blow against Holy Spirit Prep in their previous meeting on January 9th, falling 60-18. Can Fulton Science Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
