Soccer Recap: Cornerstone Christian Comes Up Short

Cornerstone Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves. If the Crusaders were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to them when the teams met back in December of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

They hit San Jacinto Valley Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caiden Von Hagen, Nathaniel Michel, and Johnathon Fonseca.

Cornerstone Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

Cornerstone Christian has already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against The Grove School on the 30th. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against California Lutheran on the 29th.
