Softball Recap: Yreka Miners vs. West Valley Eagles
Yreka extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 11-8. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Valley Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Miners of the 13-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Trinity Spencer was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
