Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Manogue). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 41-9 victory over the Galena Grizzlies. The win continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won eight in a row.

Brandon Mann was his usual excellent self, rushing for 102 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 138 yards and a pair of TDs. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 64 yards. Amir McGruder was another key player, gaining 100 total yards and two touchdowns.

Bishop Manogue didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of JT Thomas III and Nate Simmons. Thomas III got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory got Bishop Manogue back to even at 3-3. As for Galena, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
