Preview: Pandora-Gilboa Rockets vs. Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains
Pandora-Gilboa has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Pandora-Gilboa earned a 33-24 victory over Leipsic.
Meanwhile, Hopewell-Loudon put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Montpelier for the full four quarters, racking up a 46-14 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Hopewell-Loudon, who have now won seven matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.
Pandora-Gilboa is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Hopewell-Loudon, their win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 11-0.
Pandora-Gilboa was able to grind out a solid victory over Hopewell-Loudon when the teams last played back in October of 2017, winning 16-7. Does Pandora-Gilboa have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hopewell-Loudon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
