Soccer Recap: Ridgeland Takes a Loss

Ridgeland lost against Pickens back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers lost 8-0 to the Dragons. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Ridgeland haven't been shut out since back in March.

Ridgeland dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Pickens, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeland will challenge Ringgold at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pickens, they will face off against Chestatee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pickens are facing Chestatee at the right time seeing as Chestatee are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
