Soccer Game Preview: American Heritage vs. FAU High

The American Heritage Stallions will square off against the FAU High Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Stallions will head out to face the Owls after giving up their first home loss of the season last Wednesday. The Stallions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only FAU High walked away with it. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was FAU High who was credited with the victory on Wednesday. FAU High got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Glades Central's two.

Luke Black and Magnus Skaug scored both of FAU High's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

FAU High's win bumped their record up to 6-7-4. As for the Stallions, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3-3.

American Heritage beat FAU High 2-0 in their previous meeting back in November of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for American Heritage since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
