Softball Game Preview: Central Valley Bears vs. University Titans

Central Valley hasn't had much luck against University recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bears will head out to take on the Titans. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Central Valley heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Tuesday. They fell just short of Southridge by a score of 2-1. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Hermiston hit University with a five-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Titans lost 10-4 to the Bulldogs. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

University's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Central Valley suffered a grim 21-0 defeat to University in their previous meeting on Thursday. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
