Bennington waltzed into their contest on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Duchesne Cardinals by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Bennington easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16.

Leading Bennington to victory were Evynn Olsen and Trina Schroeder. Olsen had six digs and three assists, while Schroeder had six digs and one assist. That's the most assists Olsen has posted over her last nine matchups.

Bennington was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in nine consecutive matches.

Bennington's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Duchesne, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season.
