It was a good run, but TEACH Homeschool unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins. The Beach Breakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dolphins earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Cape Henry Collegiate found their leader in freshman Landon Lewis, who had 15 digs and three aces. Tyler Rubino also deserves some recognition as he had his first blocks of the season.

TEACH Homeschool's defeat dropped their record down to 19-2. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: TEACH Homeschool beat Cape Henry Collegiate by a score of 2-0 later that day.
