Football Recap: Monument Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Monument Valley might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Navajo Pine who claimed the real prize. The Cougars came up short against the Warriors, falling 48-28. The contest was a close 14-12 at the break, but unfortunately for the Cougars it sure didn't stay that way.

Monument Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Navajo Pine, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Monument Valley has already played their next game, a 48-6 defeat against Panguitch on the 26th. As for Navajo Pine, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Alamo Navajo at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
