Softball Recap: Alden-Hebron Comes Up Short

Alden-Hebron couldn't beat Pecatonica on Monday even though they stacked eight runs on them in the third inning. The Green Giants came up short against the Indians, falling 30-9. The Green Giants haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Alden-Hebron's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Pecatonica, they moved to 10-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Alden-Hebron will host South Beloit at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sobos have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.14 runs per game on average), something the Green Giants will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Pecatonica, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Lena-Winslow at 4:00 p.m.
