After a string of eight wins, Vinemont's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They received a blow as they fell 63-48 to the West Point Warriors. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 56-54.

Vinemont's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for West Point, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Point beat Vinemont by a score of 63-48 on Thursday.
