Soccer Game Preview: Tuloso-Midway vs. Calallen

The Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees will face off against the Calallen Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Tuesday, Tuloso-Midway made easy work of King and carried off a 9-1 victory. The Warriors & Cherokees haven't had any issues with the Brahmas recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, on TuesdayIngleside kept up with Calallen until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Calallen blew past Ingleside 4-1. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Mustangs on their pitch since March 8, 2022.

Calallen is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five matches. Tuloso-Midway's victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Tuloso-Midway took their win against Calallen when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 4-0. Does Tuloso-Midway have another victory up their sleeve, or will Calallen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
