Football Recap: Reagan's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Reagan waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 38-14 margin over the Clark Cougars. The Rattlers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Reagan's defense made their presence known, laying out Isaiah Santillan 4.5 times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jaden Bullock, Jack Glenn, and Mateo Gutierrez, who each picked up one sack apiece. Bullock was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Although Clark took the loss, they still got scores from Xavier Canavis and Dom Moore.

Reagan now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Clark, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3.

Coming up, Reagan will head out on the road to challenge Brandeis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clark, they will host Johnson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Jaguars have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
