The home team had won the previous three meetings between Cameron and Shell Lake, and Cameron kept the tradition alive. The Comets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lakers on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cameron took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11.

Jillian Emerson paced Cameron's offense, picking up four kills. Emerson were helped by Eva Sevals and Emerson Krahenbuhl, who contributed five assists each.

Cameron now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Shell Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
