Volleyball Recap: Western Hills Wolverines vs. Collins Titans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ryle, Western Hills was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Collins Titans. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Western Hills took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-11.
Carson Wallace paced Western Hills' offense, picking up 13 kills. Wallace got some help from Shiv Patel and his 29 assists. Patel was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.
Western Hills has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Collins, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
