Softball Recap: Big Foot's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Big Foot fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Whitewater on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Whippets by a score of 11-10. The loss put an end to the Chiefs' undefeated start to the season.

Lily Wolf made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Kate Hummel was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.

Having lost for the first time this season, Big Foot fell to 2-1. As for Whitewater, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Big Foot will be playing in front of their home fans against Williams Bay at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Whitewater, they will head out on the road to square off against Johnson Creek at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
