Khaled Escheik, Chowchilla's leading rebounder, solidified his role on Saturday. Escheik showed up in a big way, putting up 18 points along with 11 rebounds and five assists with a field goal percentage of 73%. With that impressive performance, he now owns an excellent shooting accuracy of 45.1% on the season. The last time his shooting accuracy was this high was back in December of 2024.

Coming up, Escheik and Chowchilla will venture away from home to square off against Mendota at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tribe had to take a loss when they last met the Aztecs, but Escheik had little to do with the loss: he went 8-for-14 to rack up 24 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.
