Dallas Jesuit freshman looks to have inherited some of his father's talent.

Son of the NFL's career rushing leader is only a freshman.

It's not easy to drag five defenders 15 yards down the field.

Then again, it can't be easy pursuing football as the son of the most prolific running back in the history of the NFL.

Dallas Jesuit (Texas) freshman E.J. Smith better get used to it. The son of Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith is going to draw a lot of attention both on and off the field.

Emmitt ran for 18,355 yards and 164 touchdowns in a 15-year career with Dallas and Arizona (how many remembered that he spent two years with the Cardinals?).

E.J., a 5-foot-10, 180-pound freshman, wears his dad's famous No. 22. And he showed a little of his dad's talents on this play during the team's freshman gold game on Thursday.
