Basketball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Colcord Hornets, falling 66-44. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in January.

Commerce's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Colcord, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Commerce wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 70-48 loss against Nowata on the 20th. Colcord has also already played their next contest, a 68-56 defeat against Adair on the 19th.
