Mt. Shasta has gone 9-1 against Etna recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Mt. Shasta Bears will get right back to it and host the Etna Lions at 8:00 p.m. Etna took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Mt. Shasta, who comes in off a win.

Mt. Shasta and Anderson faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Thursday. Mt. Shasta walked away with a 57-44 victory over Anderson.

Meanwhile, Etna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 61-40 to Trinity. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.

The win got Mt. Shasta back to even at 9-9. As for Etna, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Everything went Mt. Shasta's way against Etna in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Mt. Shasta made off with a 70-45 victory. Does Mt. Shasta have another victory up their sleeve, or will Etna turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
