Basketball Recap: Topeka Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Hayden

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Washburn Rural, Topeka was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They snuck past the Hayden Wildcats with a 65-60 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Trojans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Wildcats are ranked 73rd).

Topeka's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-14-1. As for Hayden, their record now sits at 8-7.
