Volleyball Recap: Baylor Edmiston Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Huntsville

Ocean Springs's tournament run continued when they took on Huntsville on Saturday. The Greyhounds walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greyhounds.

Ocean Springs easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-12.

Ocean Springs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Baylor Edmiston, who had 12 assists and five digs. That's the most assists Edmiston has posted over her last seven matches. Maggie Noblitt also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Ocean Springs' victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Huntsville, they moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Ocean Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Homewood on the 23rd. As for Huntsville, they will host Pelham at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
