Milton-Union won the last time they faced Riverside and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Milton-Union not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Riverside between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-17.

Michaela Firks paced Milton-Union's offense, picking up ten kills. Firks got some help from Marley Reed and her 15 assists. Zenna Hines controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Milton-Union's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Riverside, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Milton-Union will head out to face off against Troy Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverside, they will venture away from home to challenge Fort Recovery at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
