Volleyball Game Preview: Pine Bush Bushmen vs. Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders

The Pine Bush Bushmen will head out on the road to challenge the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Monroe-Woodbury took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pine Bush, who comes in off a win.

Pine Bush took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Middletown 3-0.

Meanwhile, Monroe-Woodbury didn't have quite enough to beat Kingston on Friday and fell 3-2. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Pine Bush is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season. As for Monroe-Woodbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Everything went Pine Bush's way against Monroe-Woodbury when the teams last played back in September, as Pine Bush made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bushmen since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
