Hemlock's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Carrollton Cavaliers a 17-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Hemlock has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games.
