Volleyball Recap: Mooresville Takes a Loss

Mooresville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Cascade Cadets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-11.

Cascade's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Suzy Moore, who had four digs and three aces.

Mooresville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Cascade, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-2.

Coming up, Mooresville will be taking part in a tournament against North Montgomery at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cascade, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Owen Valley on the 21st.
