Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lafayette Christian Academy managed to slip by Notre Dame the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights came up short against the Pioneers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lafayette Christian Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Lafayette Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dimi Batiste had ten assists and nine digs.

Lafayette Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Notre Dame, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Lafayette Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Southside on the 20th. As for Notre Dame, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against St. Mary's Dominican on the 20th.
