Football Recap: Trenton Falls to Allen Park in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Trenton kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 47-27 to the Allen Park Jaguars. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Despite the loss, Trenton still got an impressive performance from Anthony Hawkins, who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries, and also threw for 56 yards and one TD on only five passes.

Allen Park's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Klos, who threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 41 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most passing yards Klos has posted since back in September of 2024. Mikey Edwards was in the mix as well, providing Allen Park with two scores.
