Soccer Game Preview: Montbello vs. Regis Groff

The Montbello Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Regis Groff Fusion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Montbello lost 5-2 to George Washington on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Regis Groff made sure to put some goals up on the board against DMLK on Wednesday. They blew past the Panthers 10-1. Considering Regis Groff have won three matches by more than five goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting DMLK from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Berk Ozekin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Regis Groff's victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Montbello, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

Montbello was able to grind out a solid win over Regis Groff in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
