Football Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Woodland's offense. They had to suffer through a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Locust Grove Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the Wildcats are ranked 54th).

Despite the loss, Woodland still got an impressive performance from Courey Bryan, who rushed for 124 yards on only 14 carries. Bryan's longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Woodland has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Locust Grove, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
