Softball Recap: Chimacum Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Chimacum's offense. They came up short against the Cascade Christian Cougars on Wednesday, falling 15-0. The Cowboys have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Chimacum's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Cascade Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Chimacum will be playing at home against Coupeville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Cowboys' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cascade Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Seattle Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
