Raleigh had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They blew past the Magee Trojans 35-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Trojans are ranked 109th).

Raleigh's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Magee, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Coincidentally, Raleigh and Magee will both be playing Seminary the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Bulldogs at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
