Football Recap: Bullitt East Comes Up Short on the Road Against Boyle County

Bullitt East had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 48-7 loss at the hands of the Boyle County Rebels on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Rebels are ranked second).

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bullitt East will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Boyle County, they will welcome Lexington Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
