Softball Recap: University Bulldogs vs. Wray/Yuma Eagles

University waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Wray/Yuma Eagles onto the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by seven runs or more this season.

Sydney Goetzel made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Goetzel was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Natalie Galindo, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Olson, who went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a double.
