Preview: Mead vs. Holy Family
On Friday Holy Family will take on Mead at 7:00 PM. Holy Family are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
After a string of three wins, Holy Family's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They took a hard 23-41 fall against Frederick. Holy Family got a solid performance out of senior Kyle Helbig, who passed for 300 yards and 2 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory. Helbig has been a consistent playmaker for Holy Family as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Mead put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Northfield 42-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
