Softball Recap: Fulshear Chargers vs. Katy Taylor Mustangs
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fulshear had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They skirted past the Katy Taylor Mustangs 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since February 21st.
Brinley Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
