Softball Recap: Gray Stone Day Knights vs. North Hills Christian Eagles
After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Gray Stone Day brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They put the hurt on the North Hills Christian Eagles with a sharp 19-2 win on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Lindsey Stirewalt was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Stirewalt was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
