Basketball Game Preview: Wayne Eagles vs. Williamsville South Billies

The Wayne Eagles will take on the Williamsville South Billies at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Wayne comes in on six and Williamsville South on four.

Wayne is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They managed a 61-55 win over East.

Meanwhile, Williamsville South was able to grind out a solid victory over Lackawanna on Tuesday, taking the game 60-48. Given the Billies' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Steelers are ranked 371st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Williamsville South's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 22-2.
