Boaz extended their postseason success on Monday against Sardis. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Lions 6-5. The victory was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on 14 straight.

Boaz pushed their record up to 30-7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Sardis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 27-16 record this season.

Boaz does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sardis, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-6 win against Douglas on the 28th.
