Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Has No Trouble Against Center

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bear River, Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Center Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in March.

Lincoln never let Center on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-20.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Center, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Lincoln will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mira Loma at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Center, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Oakmont on the 10th.
