Football Game Preview: Northern Durham Knights vs. Chapel Hill Tigers + How To Watch

The Northern Durham Knights will head out to face off against the Chapel Hill Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northern Durham will be strutting in after a victory while Chapel Hill will be coming in after a loss.

Northern Durham is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against East Chapel Hill on Friday. The Knights secured a 12-6 W over the Wildcats. Surprisingly, this marked the Knights' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The critical scores for Northern Durham came from Malcolm Bridges and Kamaree Moore.

Northern Durham didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ashur Bluett and David Fuller.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 34 points the game before, Chapel Hill was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They came up short against Hillside, falling 24-3. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Northern Durham picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Chapel Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Northern Durham was dealt a bruising 49-0 loss at the hands of Chapel Hill in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
