Waxahachie entered their tilt with Lancaster on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Lancaster Tigers by a score of 31-20. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2017.

Waxahachie got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jerry Meyer Iii out in front who threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns.

Waxahachie didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Michael Esparza Jr. and Elijah Thompson. Waxahachie's record is now 6-3. As for Lancaster, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Waxahachie wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 57-0 win against Mesquite on the 7th. Lancaster has also already played their next contest, a 45-13 loss against DeSoto on the 7th.
