Volleyball Recap: Nixon Takes a Loss

Nixon lost against Wimberley back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Texans. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16.

Nixon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wimberley, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Nixon will challenge Mission at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wimberley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Gainesville on the 14th.
