Basketball Game Preview: Campbell County Camels vs. Cooper Jaguars

The Campbell County Camels will square off against the Cooper Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Campbell County is headed into Thursday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They took a 68-51 bruising from Simon Kenton on Tuesday. While the Camels didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pioneers 18-11 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Cooper entered their tilt with Conner on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 63-56.

Cooper has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Campbell County, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7.
