Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Archbishop Hoban). They blew past the Chippewa Chipps 77-37 on Wednesday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Chipps are ranked 138th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Archbishop Hoban pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.4 points per game. As for Chippewa, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

Archbishop Hoban won't have much time to rest: their next match is against St. Joseph Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chippewa, they and Hillsdale will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played.
