Last Tuesday, Black Hills needed a bit of extra time to put away Hoquiam. They came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 70-59. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Black Hills found their leader in sophomore Tyler Venable, who went 12 for 22 on her way to 30 points in addition to five assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Venable has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiley McMahon, who posted 13 points in addition to eight assists and six steals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Onalaska, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 51-37 win over Raymond/South Bend on Monday. While the Loggers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Onalaska's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Black Hills, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
