Basketball Recap: Gideon Comes Up Short

Gideon blew Southland out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Southland got their revenge. The Gideon Bulldogs fell just short of the Southland Rebels by a score of 78-75. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (63), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Gideon's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Southland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Southland, they will face off against Portageville at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th.
